BOKO HARAM: Maiduguri Bombing - 10 feared dead in blast [Update]

Two female suicide bombers blew themselves up in a Monday market in Maiduguri, Borno State while they were about to be searched by an operative of local vigilante, Civilian Joint Task Force (Civilian JTF).The explosion which occurred in a busy market in Maiduguri, Borno State today, December 1, is reported to have claimed more than 10 lives.

The spokesperson for the state police force, Gideon Jibrintold AFP:

“Two female suicide bombers detonated an explosive in Monday market in two different locations killing more than 10, and injured many.”

A witness, Goni Abba also said:

“I counted 10 dead bodies and over 20 others were injured.”

Two female suicide bombers had earlier carried out a similar attack in a Maiduguri market on Tuesday, November 25, 2014.
