The sportsmen who took part in sharing New Year photos on social media accounts include the likes of Luis Suarez and wife, Sofia; Gareth Bale and his wife, Emma Rhys-Jones; and the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Lukas Podolski, Andre Schurrle, Daniel Sturridge, Edin Dzeko, Oscar and his wife, Ludmila and daughter, Julia.
