Young Money Rapper, 'Nicki Minaj' Named Best Rapper In 2014

In a male dominated hip-hop scene where rap is not only a craft for the better wordsmith, lyricist or creative mind. It also requires a deep level of dominance, a level of incontestable earned respect, a throne or crown of some sort depends on how you refer to it.


After being all up in our faces by teasing tracks from her recently released LP “Pink Print” with chart smashing singles (and her twerking butt, of course yes thank you), like Anaconda, Pills and Potions she followed up those singles by releasing the full compilation of her third studio album titled “Pink Print”. We can all agree, that Nicki is clearly having a good year.

As 2014 comes to an end, artistes are claiming dominance in the areas where they dominated. Complex magazine has however crowned Minaj as the best rapper of 2014. In an article published today, a brief run down of Nicki’s Hip-Hop dominance this year was established as the premise for the crown. From her ferocious verses and freestyles on both featured songs and her own songs. Nicki is established as a queen of kings that has dominated a field usually reserved for men.
