XZIBIT: 'Pimp My Ride' host arrested hours after wedding day

Ace rapper Xzibit (real name Alvin Joiner) didn't get the memo, that a groom shows up for his own honeymoon after his wedding, instead he was found behind bars hours after his wedding to fiancee of 5 years, Krista.
The 'Pimp My Ride' TV show host was arraigned by the Los Angeles Police Department in Laguna Beach, California for speeding just hours after he walked his wife down the aisle.

The police told reporters that the new groom was asked to pull over after driving his Range Rover at a 'high rate of speed' on the highway.

“The officer contacted the driver and smelled alcohol. This started a driving under the influence investigation which ended with the arrest of [Xzibit]" Captain Jason Kravetzsaid. “He was booked on one misdemeanor count of DUI” the captain added.

Reports say the rapper was forced to substitute his honeymoon with few hours in a holding cell at the Laguna Beach Police Department.

He was later released later the next day after taking a sobriety test.

According to MailOnline, 'This is not the first time the MTV star has had some trouble with the law over his driving. In 2007, the ace car racer detained and his driving license seized by the Dutch police for over speeding.'
