TERRORISM: Nigerian Army Intercepts Chad Bound Arms-Laden Plane


The Nigerian military have seized a Russian plane loaded with large amount of arms and ammunition, bound for neighbouring Chad, according to sources in the military.
The source told Premium Times that the plane was stopped at the Aminu Kano International Airport.
The plane was on route to N’djamena, the capital of Chad, landed in Kano at about 2a.m. Saturday, Nigerian time.
All crew members of the plane have been detained and are undergoing interrogation by Nigerian forces.
This developement has sources questioning if this is the source of arms for Boko Haram.

The insurgency has recently been faced with heavy loss in the past couple of days , having lost Mubi to a revamped Nigerian army.
