A vigilante leader in the area who spoke to Channels Television on Phone gave the name of the affected villages, as Kobin, Dogon-Daji, Naidu, Kabamu, Hayin -Kwanta, Kabani and Gani.
He said that 38 people were killed in Kobin, 21 in Dogon- Daji, 16 in Naidu, 30 in Kabamu, 5 in Hayin Kwanta, 4 Kabani and 9 in Gani, saying that most of the villages are so remote and don’t have the presence of policemen.
Although the spokesmen of the state Polce command, Aminu Lawan, disclaimed any report of a fresh attack, the local government council has imposed a 24-hour curfew in the affected areas.

He urged the people of the area to remain calm as security operatives were on top of the situation.
